Tony Sermonti is the former legislative director of Washington state's motor vehicle and driver licensing agency, former legislative staffer, and worked on autonomous vehicle issues as a member of Governor Inslee's interagency autonomous vehicles workgroup. He has participated on the American Association of Motor Vehicle Administrators autonomous vehicles subcommittee, and has participated as a panelist and attendee at meetings and national conferences. His experience spans the policy and political landscape of autonomous vehicles and monitoring of testing and development -- and bridging the gaps between the legal, practical, and political realities of how we move forward.
